Turkey Meatballs & Spaghetti

My daughters are picky eaters, for the most part.  They'll love something one day and hate it the next.  But at least every other week they ask for meatballs, maybe because they love helping me make them!  I'm sure you've noticed with your own family that when you get them involved (kids, spouse, boyfriend, whoever), everyone enjoys the time and the meal so much more.

I generally pair the meatballs with tomato sauce or spaghetti sauce and either spaghetti squash or whole wheat noodles for dinner, and then use the leftovers for my own lunch the next day.

So gather your ingredients and get started!

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 c whole wheat bread crumbs
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 c parmesean cheese
1 lg egg
2 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs Montreal Steak seasoning

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Mix everything together.

Form into 1 1/2 inch balls and placed on a greased sheet.

Bake for 15 min.

Serve with spaghetti sauce and whole wheat pasta and sprinkle some cheese on top for the kiddos.
