Shakeology Ingredient Spotlight: Kale

Kale is a vegetable with green or purple leaves, and has become popular recently in salads, roasted as "chips" and hidden in green smoothies. Kale is very high in beta carotene, vitamin K, and vitamin C, and is rich in calcium. It is also a good source of lutein, which promotes eye health, and contains sulforaphane, a chemical with potent anti-cancer properties.
