Change Starts Now (Part 1)

This is almost bordering on embarrassing.  I haven't been as present on social media lately, which is fine, we all have our times, but it's been WAY too long since I've posted!!

Here's the truth of it.  I got into a car accident a little over a month ago, and it sent me into hibernation.  We didn't get hurt (though the car was totaled) and everything turned out fine, but it rocked me all the same.  There was Thanksgiving, and then Christmas shopping and school concerts and readying for travelling, and the kids got sick and we drove across the country and on the way back got stuck due to roads flooding... it's been a CRAZY end to 2015!!

So I started thinking about the new year and how I REALLY love that it's coming up so quickly.  What an awesome opportunity for a fresh start, right??

I'm going to head into my annual goal setting, but I'm going to do things a bit differently this year and I'm really looking forward to it :).  I'll be setting small, measurable goals that I can sort of "check off" my goal list, rather than lengthy goals to complete by the end of the year.

Here's an example:
Instead of setting a goal of $50,000 for my business, I'm going to set benchmarks for myself, and make it more fun and manageable.  Have a $500 month.  Have a $750 month.  Have a $1000 month.  Help 3 people start their health and fitness journeys in one month.  Help 5 people.  Help 7 people. Add my first 2016 coach.  Second, third, etc. with checkboxes.  Participate in 3 team calls per month.  Finish Hammer and Chisel's 60 day calendar.  Up the weights from 10lb to 15lb, and to 20lb.  Whatever I can come up with... You see what I mean?

I LOVE checking and crossing items off my list.  So why not make my goal list match that love?  It'll certainly help me get excited about reaching those goals :).  And I'll create a jar to place either money or just a slip of paper into whenever I reach a goal so I can VISUALIZE my accomplishments.

I'm so excited to get this started and to share my process with you.

Do you want to set goals differently this year too?  Message me--let's work on it together!
