Quick meal: sausage and veggies

These little containers have been a part of my life for a few years. They help me eat with the correct macros for my goals, measure my portions, and take the guess work out of the types of foods to eat.

Admittedly I don't always use them. When I'm following a program it's 100%, but on my off days where I'm in between the structure, it's hit and miss ;). When I feel myself slipping into sugar binges, I bring 'em back out and get to work.

I haven't posted a "from this to this" in a while, so to bring it back I'm doing it in style. This is one of my FAVORITE meals lately, and has been awesome for cleaning out the freezer!

Turkey sausage (red)
Riced broccoli (green)
Riced butternut squash (1/2 green)
Rotel (1/2 green)
Sweet corn (yellow)
Olive oil (tsp)

Sautee it all in the oil. It only takes a few minutes! The Rotel gives it a kick, and could be subbed for diced tomatoes if you wanted to take the heat out ;).

I found my riced veggies in the freezer aisle at the grocery store. I'm told lots of smaller stores don't have them, so you can also rice fresh or frozen produce yourself using a food processor or even just chop it or zoodle it. Seriously, there's always a way to make it work!

Who uses containers? Would you eat this meal?
